Rachel needed a new fun space... It seemed nothing could compare to the Winnie the Pooh room we did for her nursery... now, Ellie's pad... and rachel was rather bummed about that. SO, while she played downstairs with her daddy, I went upstairs and drew... and painted big, whimsical flowers on her wall.
I told her to close her eyes, as we walked into the room when I was finished, and when she opened them she shrieked with delight! throwing her arms around my knees she said, "oooh! Mommy, I love you so much!" And that was the best compliment of all.
Even more, now, is the compliment of watching her play in her room by herself. She is currently reading her Disney book, chatting with her stuffed animals, and watching Cinderella on her Disney princess tv. Did we have it that good when we were 2? I can't recall... :)
